Our Podiatrist

David Lane is a highly experienced Podiatrist with 33 years of dedication to podiatry practice and treats a wide variety of foot problems, in patients of all ages. David strives to provide the best possible patient care utilizing gentle, modern and proven treatment options.

David is a current member of nationally recognized professional associations including theAustralian Podiatry Association.

David assesses and treats a wide variety of foot conditions including diabetic foot care and assessments, skin and nail conditions including corns, callous, ingrown and thickened nails. 

David is very experienced in the field of orthotic design and manufacture. The clinic has its own purpose built orthotic lab allowing David to not only assess your feet and prescribe your orthotics, but to also manufacture them with expert professional care and precision.

If your feet and lower limbs have problems causing pain or loss of function we can help.

Footwear

Gosnells Podiatry & Orthotics are selling agents for a range of excellent comfort footwear from slip-on slides and thongs to super comfortable lace up and Velcro walking shoes.

Brands available include Orthaheel, Archies, Revere and the highly regarded Dr. Comfort medical grade footwear range.  Dr. Comfort shoes are traditionally only available at specialty orthopedic footwear suppliers and are suitable for people with extra wide and difficult to fit feet. 

Most products are available to view and try on in our clinic.  You are welcome to pop and try our range with no appointment necessary.  Some products are not held in stock but can be ordered .

Referrals

Although we do welcome referrals from doctors and other health professionals, in many cases you do not require one.

Podiatry rebates are available from all health funds on the ancillary or extras tables.
We suggest you check that your particular policy covers podiatry.

We have HICAPS which allows your private insurance claim to be processed at the time of treatment, leaving you only the balance or “gap” to pay.

Some people with specific medical problems may be eligible for medicare rebates.

Please ask your doctor if you are eligible.

All veterans affairs gold card holders can receive podiatry treatment free of charge.
